TRADERO | PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: February 18, 2026 Status: Active Protocol 1. DATA COLLECTION (WHAT WE SEE) TradeRo is designed to be a "low-footprint" marketplace. We do not require traditional registration. However, to maintain the security of the trading floor, we collect the following: Public Identifiers: Roblox usernames and Discord handles provided during the listing process. Inventory Metadata: Images and descriptions of the virtual items you choose to list. Technical Logs: IP addresses and browser types are logged temporarily to prevent DDoS attacks and "botting" of the market. 2. USE OF INFORMATION Your data is used specifically for: Market Transparency: Displaying who is selling what so buyers can contact you. Reputation Management: Tracking "Vouches" or "Reports" against a specific username to protect the community. Security: Identifying and blacklisting known scammers or automated scripts trying to flood the market. 3. DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or third-party data brokers. External Links: Our site contains links to Discord and Roblox. Once you leave TradeRo, your data is subject to the privacy policies of those respective platforms. 4. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE TradeRo uses Browser Local Storage to remember your login status and your specific listings. This data stays on your device and is not stored on our central servers unless you actively "post" a listing to the Global Market. 5. DATA RETENTION Listings are stored as long as they are active. If you delete a listing or your account, that data is scrubbed from the active Global Market. However, usernames associated with confirmed scams will be held in a permanent "Blacklist" database to prevent future access. 6. MINORS TradeRo is intended for users who are old enough to play Roblox (13+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data, it will be immediately purged. 7. YOUR RIGHTS You have the right to request the deletion of your listings at any time. To do so, simply use the "Delete" function within your dashboard or contact a Sector Moderator on our official Discord.
